Introducing... LIAR LIAR GAME, a mystery visual novel set on Halloween, created for the Spooktober 2024 game jam. A fun little whodunit, inspired by manor mysteries of old.

On All Hallow’s Eve, the Seests were entertaining guests at one of their lavishly themed dinner parties. Everything was going to plan, until disaster struck one of the hosts.
You are tasked with uncovering the mystery of who killed Mr D. Seest? Was it personal, intentional or accidental? What feelings were harboured? Only you will know by asking questions.
You must speak with six suspects about various topics, and are limited to a number of questions in order to deduce who is the culprit. With all varied stories and personality types, it'll be up to you to figure out who is being truthful, and who is not.
There are key tells to each major culprit; one must watch their words, expression, and their habits. How do they act under pressure, and is it a quirk, or true sign of guilt?
Some will be helpful, some will not – but all of them have guilty tells. Can you tell who is the liar among them?

This is an amazing little whodunit, voice acting and character art are top notch. Love the twist at the end and the brilliant writing. All round great game, excellent work from this team!

This was so fun to play! I actually was surprised I got it the first time around and played twice more on expert mode just to figure out some more ~details~. The voice acting was a really wonderful surprise too, matching the character's perfectly, and the art and storytelling was perfectly executed!
